Another Sign of Shrinking Values

Last night the weatherman said a front was coming through. He was sure we were going to get 2" to 4". Well the front passed through and we got our snow, and the event requires some analysis.
It is clear that the American inch has gone the same way as the American dollar. In the accompanying picture you can see just how little snow 2" to 4" is by March 2008 standards.
Like the ratio between the US Dollar and the Canadian Dollar, it appears to me that the American inch has shrunk so much that it might even be smaller than the Canadian centimeter, even though in its glory, it was two and half times bigger.
Ah, how the mighty have fallen.
